Lower Level Love

An Updated Lower Level

This lower level update was all about turning a dated, underutilized space into a warm and welcoming spot for everyday family life. Previously, the area felt dark and less inviting, with a high-top table, limited comfort, and finishes that no longer reflected the way the space was meant to be used. By introducing more comfortable seating, softer textures, and a lighter, more modern design direction, the lower level now feels cozy, inclusive, and functional. Designed for everything from card games and casual gatherings to spending quality time with family, the finished space feels relaxed, updated, and much more inviting for everyone who uses it.

Before the update, this lower level felt outdated and visually heavy, with decor and finishes that no longer reflected the way the family wanted to use the space. The high-top table and chairs made the room feel smaller and less comfortable, creating a setup that wasn’t ideal for lingering, playing cards, or gathering together. While the area had plenty of potential, it lacked the warmth, comfort, and inviting feel needed to make it a true extension of the home.

Rainbow Refresh

Rainbow Kids Bedroom

Designed for a little boy who loves rainbows, art, and Toy Story, this bedroom was created to feel playful, personal, and full of light. A custom rainbow stripe accent wall brings energy and imagination into the space, while a soft, neutral foundation keeps the room feeling calm and bright.

We thoughtfully incorporated several existing pieces—meaningful artwork, favorite books, and cherished décor—layering them with new elements to create a space that feels both refreshed and familiar. The result is a room that celebrates creativity, encourages reading and play, and can grow alongside the little one who calls it home.

Before the update, the bedroom featured soft, neutral tones and great natural light, but it lacked the personality and playfulness to reflect its young owner. While the space was functional, it was ready for a thoughtful refresh that would bring in color, creativity, and a sense of joy—without starting completely from scratch.

Doggy Glow-up

Doggy Nursery Update

This nursery refresh shows how meaningful change can happen without a full redesign. By working intentionally with what already functioned well in the space—the existing rocker, crib, and guest bed—we focused on enhancing rather than replacing.

Fresh paint, playful yet timeless dog decals, and thoughtfully styled accents (many reimagined from elsewhere in the home) brought new life to the room. The result is a lighter, happier, and more cohesive nursery that balances practicality with personality—proof that smart design is often about seeing what you already have in a new way.

Before the update, the nursery felt crowded and unfinished, with limited cohesion between furniture, layout, and decor. The space lacked visual flow and personality, making it feel more like a catch-all room than a calm, intentional nursery.
